For people who keep their own music.
Sonevia is a music player for the collection you've built: the files you ripped, bought or downloaded, the server you run at home, and the Apple Music you subscribe to.
Listening first
A music player should get out of the way. Sonevia is written natively for iPhone, iPad and Mac, around an audio engine of its own, so songs join without a gap, controls respond the moment you touch them, and the system's Lock Screen, CarPlay and AirPlay work the way you expect.
Honest about sound
Audio software is full of claims that can't be checked. Sonevia takes the opposite approach. The Audio Lab shows every step between the file and your ears: the decoder, any resampling, gain, the EQ and the output. If something changes the signal, it says so. Sonevia never calls itself bit-perfect, because on iPhone that isn't something an app can promise.
Your library, not a platform
There's no Sonevia account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your library, playlists and listening history are kept on your devices, and iCloud Sync keeps them in your own private iCloud, which the developer can't read. When Sonevia talks to the internet, it's to the services you chose, like your own server, LRCLIB for lyrics or Wikipedia for an artist's biography, and the privacy policy lists every one.
Built in the open with its testers
Sonevia has been shaped by its TestFlight testers since its first beta in October 2026. Sort names, liked albums, every release kind on artist pages, AirPlay 2 and the Playlists tab came from their reports. The changelog and roadmap show what changed and what's next.
